a love of storytelling...
Singer-songwriter Grace Corbett was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. After spending most of their childhood writing little lines and poems to help understand the ever-changing world around them, Grace began to explore the possibility of sharing those words and stories with others, as maybe they would be relatable. When asked about the message they want to convey with their music, Corbett said, “My main goal with my music is to convey the message that no one is alone. I’ve spent so much of my life feeling lost in my own identity, and I am hyper-aware of how isolating those feelings can be. I write about my experiences as a human so that maybe least one person hears one of my songs & feels less alone in their parallel situation.” Grace's first single, “magnetic,” kickstarted their career and was released in 2021 followed by two more releases, “Icarus” and “sorry,” shortly thereafter. Now, just over twenty-one years old, Corbett has released their debut album entitled “ilyf” featuring eight tracks that they wrote, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered almost entirely independently.

... & Born to perform.
As they've taken to the stage in recent years, Grace has discovered a new understanding of the word passion. Ever the dramatic child, Corbett would put on elaborate make-believe performances for her family members. This translated into participation in theater programs in high school and college and ultimately into what Grace will say is their favorite thing to do: performing music with others.

In 2024, Corbett helped form the band Pixiebitch! (currently on hiatus) and quickly discovered their love for live music. Their stage presence has been noted as engaging and strong which ultimatley is rooted in, as Grace says, "the connection you feel when you are onstage doing the thing you love with other people who are also doing the things they love." Since this discovery Corbett has begun performing their own music (and some much loved covers) with a band of their own that currently includes fellow musicians and friends of Corbett's; Jackson Giumarro, Audrey Tignor, Linden Amster, Adin Kasmin, and Aiden Provost.
